The AST weld-in roll cage V2 for the BMW E34 saloon is a full roll cage for the BMW 5 Series E34 with 4-door saloon bodywork. This Weld-in E34 Saloon V2 has the basic structure of the V1 plus the front reinforcement bars to the bulkhead, and is permanently welded to the bodyshell at 8 mounting points.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for builders who want to integrate the front end of their E34 into the structure.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The welding is permanent and should be carried out by a specialist. Clear the dashboard area before you start, as the front bars run all the way to the bulkhead.

The front bars bring the nose of the E34 into the welded structure, exactly where a heavy saloon starts to flex first.

Why choose this Weld-in E34 Saloon V2 roll cage?

The E34 has a long bonnet and a lot of mass at the front. Extending the bars all the way to the bulkhead and welding them in gives the front suspension a fixed reference point. That makes braking more stable and the response to steering corrections more direct.
