The AST weld-in roll cage (Weld-In V5 NASCAR-door) is a full, welded-in roll cage for the BMW 3 Series (E36) with 2-door coupé bodywork and rear-wheel drive, featuring an additional NASCAR-style door bar for side protection in drifting and track use. This structure is permanently welded to the bodyshell at 8 points, to FIA Appendix J specifications.
