The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E36 Touring V1 is a full roll cage for the BMW E36 with 5-door Touring bodywork. This Weld-in Touring V1 is the entry-level version of the range, with a main hoop and backstays, permanently welded in at 8 mounting points.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who are building up their Touring step by step into a fully fledged competition car without going straight for the heaviest version.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. As the cage is permanently welded to the bodyshell, fitting is best carried out by a welder experienced in race car preparation. AST digitises the bodyshell of the E36 Touring with laser scanners and then designs the cage in 3D, so every tube falls exactly into place.
