The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E81 V4 is a full roll cage for the BMW 1 Series E81 with three-door hatchback bodywork. This Weld-in E81 V4 is welded to the bodyshell at eight points, making it a permanent solution, with door bars, an extra diagonal brace and a harness bar.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who want to get maximum rigidity out of their E81 and have no need to return the car to its original condition.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The kit comes as loose tubes that are fitted in the car and welded in at eight points, so this is a job for an experienced welder. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly.
