The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E87 V5 NASCAR Door Bars is a full roll cage for the BMW 1 Series E87 with five-door hatchback bodywork. This weld-in E87 V5 NASCAR is the highest specification level in the range: the complete set of bars, combined with several curved tubes in the door instead of the usual door bar.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain for teams and drivers who are turning their E87 into a fully fledged competition car and don’t want to do without a single bar.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D so that it fits your car exactly. Expect more welding with this specification level than with a lighter version; plan to strip out the interior and clean the panels before the welder starts.

Choosing the V5 means choosing not the lightest cage but the most rigid one; every bar in the range is included.
