The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW G82 Coupé V4 NASCAR Door Bars is a full roll cage for the BMW 4 Series G82 with 2-door coupé bodywork. This Weld-in G82 Coupé V4 NASCAR has several curved tubes in the door instead of the standard door bar and is welded to the bodyshell at eight points.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drifters and track drivers who want extra side protection without sacrificing room to get in.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The NASCAR tubes run through the door area, so bear in mind that the door card will have to be modified to suit. The G82 is a modern car with a lot of electronics and airbags, so plan the fitting carefully and have it established in advance which trim, wiring and cover panels need to come out. Also, always check the regulations of your own sporting organisation.
