Description
AST Removable Full Roll Cage Toyota Soarer Z30 2-door Coupé V3
The AST Removable Full Roll Cage Toyota Soarer Z30 2-door Coupé V3 is a full roll cage for the Toyota Soarer Z30 with two-door coupé body, bolted in at six points. This Full Roll Cage Soarer Z30 V3 comes in sections and is assembled in the car with sleeve connections, so it can come out again later.
Unlike a half cage, this structure runs through into the front compartment. The V3 is the heaviest of the full cages on bolt points for the Toyota Soarer Z30, with the most tubing and an X-shaped rear structure.
Key benefits
- Complete structure: runs through into the front compartment, not just the rear.
- Dismountable: the cage comes in sections and is assembled with sleeve connections.
- Six bolt points: bolted onto six base plates that are welded to the body.
- Choice of anchoring area: when ordering you tell us where the cage anchors at the rear.
- X-shaped rear structure: the rear is built as an X for extra stiffness.
- E355 steel: 45 mm diameter main hoop, 40 mm for the rest of the structure.
- Custom base plates: 3 mm thick steel, designed per car rather than universal.
- Exact fit: the body is digitised with laser scanners before the cage is drawn in 3D.
- Complete kit: supplied unpainted with fixings, documentation, installation manual and sticker set.

Installation and delivery
The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The six base plates are welded to the body, then the cage is assembled in the car in sections and bolted down. The fact that the structure comes in sections makes a big difference: you do not have to squeeze a complete cage through a door opening. On a Toyota Soarer Z30 of this age, check beforehand that the mounting areas are free of rust: welding onto corroded panels gives a cage that will not do its job in a crash. Re-tighten the bolted joints after the first drives and regularly after that. This cage is intended for circuit and competition use; check the regulations of your own motorsport organisation beforehand.
A complete cage on six points that can come out again via sleeve connections.
Why choose this Full Roll Cage Soarer Z30 V3?
A half cage protects the back of your head, a full cage protects your whole body. For anyone moving from track days to competition, that is the moment to step up. The fact that this version is dismountable makes it interesting for a Toyota Soarer Z30 that does not live on the circuit alone. You do give up interior space, and getting in and out becomes harder.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly is the choice of anchoring area?
When ordering you tell us where the cage anchors at the rear: at the wheel arch or in the rear suspension area. Both are available for this Full Roll Cage Soarer Z30 V3; which one you choose depends on how your boot is laid out and what your regulations prescribe.
What is the difference with a bolt-in cage?
Both are bolted in, but the bolt-in versions for the Toyota Soarer Z30 are built heavier and use FIA sleeve connections. This Full Roll Cage Soarer Z30 V3 is the lighter-built variant.
Is welding required?
Yes, for the six base plates. They are welded to the body; the cage itself is then bolted onto those plates and can come out again via the sleeve connections.
Does this cage also fit other versions of the Toyota Soarer Z30?
No. This cage is designed for the two-door coupé. Other body styles and generations have a different structure.
What is the delivery time?
The standard delivery time for this roll cage is 15 to 35 working days, because AST builds every cage to order.
