Installation and delivery

The spring seat reinforcement has to be welded in. Remove the spring, clean the spring seat thoroughly back to bare metal and check the panel for rust and small cracks. Place the plate in the seat with the holes over the existing openings, and weld it in all the way round.

Have the welding done by someone with experience and treat the seat afterwards with an anti-corrosion primer and a good sealer, because a lot of moisture and dirt collects here.
