The BC Racing DS coilover kit GR86 (part number C-185-DS-DA) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Toyota GR86 (ZN8), from model year 2022. The spring rate is 5 kg/mm front and 5 kg/mm rear.
The DS series is the track-focused coilover kit from BC Racing. The monotube dampers have a digressive piston that damps more firmly during slow movements of the body, between 0 and 50 mm/s. This keeps a GR86 calmer on turn-in and during load changes, while the kit also remains usable on the road.
The kit is intended for GR86 drivers who regularly head to the track or have a sporty driving style. You set the damping in 30 clicks and the ride height independently of the spring preload. The damper body has a satin chrome finish.

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. On some cars the pillowball top mount at the front requires a small modification to the upper mounting; if in doubt, contact us. After setting the ride height, have the alignment checked and set; especially for track use, a proper camber and toe setup pays off.
