Description
Nissan Z33 350Z Fairlady Z (03-09) BC Racing ER coilover kit 12/10 kg/mm
The BC Racing ER coilover kit 350Z (part number D-17-ER) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Nissan 350Z and Fairlady Z (Z33), model years 2003 to 2009. The spring rate is 12 kg/mm front and 10 kg/mm rear.
The kit is 2-way adjustable and has external reservoirs. This is the standard version: at the rear, the car keeps the original layout with a separate spring and a separate damper. Prefer a complete strut at the rear? Then the True Rear version is the right choice.
BC Racing developed the ER for serious track work and competition. Compression and rebound are independent, each with 30 clicks. Thanks to the dual-piston design with external reservoir, the damping stays stable even when the oil is hot.
With a spring rate of 12/10 kg/mm, this is a firmly tuned kit that keeps the heavy Z33 firmly under control.
Key benefits
- Original rear construction: the separate spring and damper at the rear are retained.
- Independent compression and rebound: 30 clicks each.
- External reservoir: more oil capacity for long sessions.
- Digressive piston: tight during weight transfer, compliant over kerbs.
- Fully synthetic oil: with a very high viscosity index.
- Camber plates: rubber top mounts as an option.
- Spring rate 12/10 kg/mm: firm front and rear.
- Rebuildable: the dampers can be rebuilt.

Fitting and delivery
The kit replaces the dampers and springs all round while retaining the original rear layout. Mount the reservoirs in a place where the lines are clear, and then have the wheel alignment set. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If it is temporarily out of stock, you can still order; we will keep you informed.
Firm springs and separate compression and rebound adjustment: the ER makes a heavy Z33 respond like a much lighter car.
Why choose this ER coilover kit 350Z?
Because it lets you work on one problem at a time. Too much dive under braking is solved with compression, a restless rear on corner exit with rebound. The reservoirs make sure that this setting is still right after a full session.
