Description
The MTS Comfort A1 GB Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Audi A1 GB, Volkswagen Polo AW, Seat Ibiza KJ and Skoda Scala, from model year 2017. Comfort is the softest MTS Technik setup: lower and firmer than standard, with as much ride comfort as possible.
On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Comfort A1 GB Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
- After fitting the MTS Comfort A1 GB Inox, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.
Delivery: 4 to 7 working days while manufacturer stock lasts.
The MTS Comfort A1 GB Inox combines stainless steel damper bodies, Eibach springs of 20-35 and 23-30 N/mm and up to 55 mm of lowering for the Audi A1 GB, Volkswagen Polo AW, Seat Ibiza KJ and Skoda Scala.
Why choose the MTS Comfort A1 GB Inox?
With the MTS Comfort A1 GB Inox you choose a lower car without giving up ride comfort; the softer springs make the kit pleasant for long trips and daily use. If you also drive in winter or the car is parked outside, the Inox version pays for itself: stainless steel doesn’t rust, so the thread of the height adjustment doesn’t seize up. If you mainly drive in summer, the Gold version is a more affordable alternative.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Comfort, Street and Stance?
All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Comfort (20-35 and 23-30 N/mm), Street (28-40 and 23-30 N/mm) and Stance (30-55 and 40 N/mm). Comfort is the softest. Street is the standard. Stance is the firmest and the lowest.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
