The MTS Street Splash Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Suzuki Splash / Swift 3/4 and Opel Agila, from model year 2005. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.

On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Fitting and delivery

The MTS Street Splash Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.

• The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
• When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
• After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

Why choose the MTS Street Splash Inox?

Street is the setup that MTS Technik itself recommends as the standard: enough lowering for a tight stance, and a character that doesn’t become tiring on the road. If you also drive in winter or the car is parked outside, the Inox version pays for itself: stainless steel doesn’t rust, so the thread of the height adjustment doesn’t seize up. If you mainly drive in summer, the Gold version is a more affordable alternative.

Frequently asked questions

Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (4×4) version?

No. The MTS Street Splash Inox is not suitable for the four-wheel-drive versions.

What is the difference between Gold and Inox?

Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
