The MTS Street Tiguan AD1 Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Volkswagen Tiguan AD1/CT1 / Tiguan Allspace, Audi Q3 F3, Seat Ateca / Tarraco, Cupra Ateca and Skoda Karoq / Kodiaq, from model year 2016. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use.

On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Fitting and delivery

The MTS Street Tiguan AD1 Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.

• The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
• When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
• Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
• If the lower spring seat on your car is one piece with the spring and cannot be removed, use the lower spring seat with VW part number 5Q0 512 297 F.
• After fitting the MTS Street Tiguan AD1 Inox, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

What is the difference between Gold and Inox?

Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
