The BC Racing ZR coilover kit S15 (part number D-27-ZR) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Nissan Silvia and 200SX S15 with rear-wheel drive, model years 1999 to 2002. The spring rate is 6 kg/mm front and 4 kg/mm rear.
The ZR series is BC Racing’s kit for competitive motorsport. The dampers have a dual piston and an external reservoir that you mount on the chassis or on the damper body, connected by braided steel lines.
On MacPherson struts BC Racing uses an inverted monotube, on double wishbones an upright monotube. The damping is 3-way adjustable and you set the ride height completely independently of the spring preload. For the S15 the kit comes with 6 kg/mm front and 4 kg/mm rear.

Fitting and delivery
The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. Preferably have it fitted by a mechanic with experience of motorsport suspension, including for positioning the reservoirs and lines. BC Racing advises periodic greasing of the RM and ZR series and recommends them less for road use than the BR, DS, ER or ZX. After setting up, have the wheel alignment reset. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If it is not in stock at BC Racing, you can still order and we will let you know the delivery date.
