BMW E92 Rear X-Brace, Extended Strut Brace

This E92 rear X-brace is a heavily extended rear strut brace for the BMW E92, also suitable for the E90 and E93. The brace ties the rear of the body together rigidly, for sharper and more predictable handling when drifting and on track days.

The main section is a 40 x 20 mm flat-oval steel tube with a 3 mm wall thickness. The X-brace is mounted at points where the car already has threaded holes from the factory, so there is no need to drill or weld the body. If you want to keep the original trim, it has to be cut at the mounting point.
