BMW E30 E36 Compact Additional Brake Caliper Adapter Set for Disc Brakes

With this Compact extra caliper adapter set, you mount a second set of brake calipers on the disc brake control arms of the BMW E36 Compact. This lets you connect a hydraulic handbrake to its own calipers without changing anything on the original braking system.

The set consists of the adapters for the rear axle and the matching mounting bolts. The adapters are bolted into the original mounting holes, so no drilling or welding is required. Suitable for the E36 Compact and for an E30 fitted with these disc brake control arms.

Fitting and delivery

You bolt the adapters into the existing mounting holes of the control arm using the bolts supplied. As the second caliper, use a caliper from the standard E36 (so not the Compact) that goes with a solid, non-vented brake disc. These parts are easy to find. Delivery time is 1 to 2 days.

For actuation, you can combine the adapters with, for example, this hydraulic handbrake.
