The AST Bolt-in Roll Cage BMW E30 Touring AWD V1 is a full roll cage for the all-wheel-drive BMW 3 Series (E30) with 5-door Touring bodywork, in practice the 325iX. This Bolt-in E30 Touring AWD V1 is the basic version with main hoop and backstays, designed around the different floor pan of the all-wheel-drive E30.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for owners of a 325iX Touring who use their car on track, in rallies or on gravel and want a structure that is not based on the rear-wheel-drive floor.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The six foot plates are welded to the bodyshell, after which the cage itself is bolted onto those plates. On a 325iX, check the clearances around the front driveline with extra care before you start welding. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly.

An all-wheel-drive E30 Touring calls for a cage of its own, and the AWD V1 is the entry level for it.
