The BC Racing BR coilover kit RX-7 FD (part number N-02-BR-RS) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Mazda RX-7 FD3S, model years 1991 to 2002. The spring rate is 10 kg/mm front and 8 kg/mm rear.
The BR series is the all-round coilover kit from BC Racing, made for an RX-7 FD that is mainly driven on the road but also does the occasional track day or autocross. You get monotube dampers with a linear piston, 30 clicks of damping adjustment and a ride height that you set independently of the spring preload.
After all these years, many FDs are still running on tired original dampers. The car then starts to bob over bumps and leans more in fast corners. Fitting and delivery
The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. After fitting and setting the ride height, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock.
