This big brake kit Clio 4 RS from V-Maxx is a complete performance brake kit for the front axle of the Renault Clio IV RS, with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium.

The kit fits the Clio RS with 147 kW and the RS Trophy with 162 kW, built from November 2012 to May 2019. A Clio RS is often used at track days and on circuits, and that is exactly where it counts how the brakes hold up after a series of hard braking manoeuvres. The caliper, bracket and bell of this kit are made of aluminium, which conducts heat about 5 times better than steel, and the discs have directional cooling channels.

You get the kit ready to fit with V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and adapters for the original rubber brake hoses. V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer, gives a 2-year warranty and supplies the kit with a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, so you can also drive it on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit Clio 4 RS according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and use the tightening torques stated in them. The kit is only suitable for cars with original steering knuckles.

Clean the brake kit with a mild soap and never with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. If you drive on the track a lot, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Options: a different caliper colour (red RAL 3020 as standard, black, blue or yellow at extra cost), V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses 460 mm (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads for track use. These DS pads have no TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
