This big brake kit T-Roc 355 mm from V-Maxx puts a complete performance brake kit with 355 mm two-piece brake discs and 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium on the front axle of your Volkswagen T-Roc (A11). The kit arrives ready to fit, including V-Maxx sport brake pads and the vehicle-specific adapters for the original brake hoses.

The T-Roc is available in versions with up to 221 kW, and under repeated hard braking the original brakes soon reach their limit. This kit tackles that with a larger disc, more pistons and a design that dissipates heat much faster. V-Maxx Autosport from the Netherlands supplies it with a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, so it is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and use the tightening torques stated in them. The big brake kit T-Roc 355 mm is intended for cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with a mild soap and never with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. If you drive on the track a lot, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Available as options: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (620 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Yes, definitely. A T-Roc with more power than standard benefits most from this kit: 355 mm discs and 6-piston calipers give more braking power and much less fade. The kW limits in the application list refer to the original factory output, and with an officially approved power upgrade the TÜV approval remains valid.

Why do the brake pads click when you change direction of travel?

That is normal. V-Maxx deliberately gives the pads 1 to 1.5 mm of play in the caliper so they do not seize at high temperatures. When you change direction of travel, they shift across that gap, which produces a short click.
