Seat Ateca V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 355 mm 6-piston

The big brake kit Ateca 355 mm from V-Maxx is a complete performance brake kit for the front axle of the Seat Ateca, with 355 mm two-piece brake discs and 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit is supplied ready to fit; vehicle-specific adapters allow the original rubber brake hoses to be connected.

Under repeated hard braking, on the road or at a track day, this kit delivers more braking torque, a firm pedal and much less fade than the original brakes. V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer; the kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, which means it is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The kit is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles; on the Ateca, this means the aluminium knuckle with a Ø55 mm clamp. Do not use wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium of the brake kit; a mild soap is sufficient. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Available as options: V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses 620 mm (set of 2) for the front axle, with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, 500 ml of Ferodo brake fluid and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

What is the difference between the 355 and 365 mm kits for the Ateca?

Both kits have 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium and TÜV approval. The 365 mm kit (20 SE365 02) has a larger disc for more braking torque, but requires wheels of at least 19 inch. This 355 mm kit already fits from 18 inch.

Does the kit fit every Ateca?

No. The kit is only suitable for an Ateca with an aluminium knuckle and a Ø55 mm shock absorber clamp, and with original brake discs of at least Ø288 mm at the front and Ø271 mm at the rear. Check this before you order.
