For the Citroën C4 Cactus (O), V-Maxx supplies this big brake kit C4 Cactus: a complete performance brake kit for the front axle with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit also includes V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters, so the original rubber brake hoses connect directly.

The C4 Cactus is mainly driven as an everyday car, but even then extra braking reserve makes a difference: with a full car, on a long descent in the mountains or during a track day. The big brake kit C4 Cactus gives more braking torque and keeps the braking power stable, because the aluminium parts dissipate heat quickly.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty. With the TÜV certificate according to §19.3, the kit is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit C4 Cactus according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied; the tightening torques are stated in them. The kit is only suitable for a C4 Cactus with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with a mild soap and not with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium.

Available as options: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (460 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads; these DS pads do not have TÜV approval. The calipers are red (RAL 3020) as standard, and also available in black, blue or yellow at extra cost. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
