The big brake kit Caddy 2K from V-Maxx is a complete front brake kit for the Volkswagen Caddy III and IV (2K), with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium.

As a commercial vehicle or family car, the Caddy is often driven with a load. This kit gives more braking power and braking performance that stays consistent under repeated hard braking, because the caliper, bracket and bell are made of aluminium and the discs have directional cooling channels. Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and observe the tightening torques given in those instructions. The big brake kit Caddy 2K is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles. Use a mild soap for cleaning; wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium.

Options: caliper colour black, blue or yellow (at extra cost; red RAL 3020 as standard), V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses (620 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads, which have no TÜV approval. Why do the brake pads sometimes click?

That is normal. V-Maxx deliberately gives the pads 1 to 1.5 mm of play, so they do not seize in the caliper when hot. When you change direction of travel, they shift and that produces a short click.
