With this big brake kit Focus Mk2 from V-Maxx, you convert the front axle of a Ford Focus II, Focus ST 225 or C-Max I to a brake kit with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit is supplied ready to fit, including V-Maxx sport brake pads and vehicle-specific adapters.

On the track, the original front brakes of the Focus II, and certainly those of the ST 225, heat up quickly under repeated hard braking. This kit gives more braking power and stays consistent for much longer. V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and the kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, so it is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and follow the tightening torques stated in them. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with mild soap and never with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Options: V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses 500 mm (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set, a different caliper colour (red RAL 3020 as standard; black, blue or yellow at extra cost) and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads without TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Yes. The pads deliberately have 1 to 1.5 mm of play in the caliper so they do not seize at high temperatures. As a result, you hear a short click when you change direction of travel.
