The big brake kit Ibiza 6L from V-Maxx is a performance brake kit for the front axle of the Seat Ibiza 6L with PCD 5×100, with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit is supplied ready to fit, including vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses.

Important: V-Maxx has no TÜV approval for this version. The kit is therefore mainly intended for track use and track days, where it delivers more braking torque, a firm pedal and much less fade under repeated hard braking. Check for yourself beforehand whether you are allowed to use this kit on public roads. V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles. Do not use wheel cleaner on the brake kit, as it attacks the aluminium; clean it with a mild soap. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Options: a different caliper colour (red RAL 3020 as standard; black, blue or yellow at extra cost), V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses 500 mm (set of 2) for the front axle with PTFE inner hose, 500 ml of Ferodo brake fluid, a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads (no TÜV approval). Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
