This big brake kit Mégane 3 from V-Maxx is a complete brake kit for the front axle of the Renault Mégane III and Mégane III Grandtour, with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium.

The kit fits all versions from 63 to 162 kW, built from November 2008 to January 2016. If you use your Mégane at track days or want more braking reserve on the road, what matters most is braking performance that does not fade under repeated hard braking. That is why the caliper, bracket and bell are made of aluminium, which conducts heat about 5 times better than steel.

V-Maxx supplies the kit ready to fit, with sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, and V-Maxx Autosport, a Dutch manufacturer, gives a 2-year warranty.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit Mégane 3 according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and observe the tightening torques. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles.

For maintenance: clean the brake kit with a mild soap and do not use wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Available options are a different caliper colour (red RAL 3020 as standard, or black, blue or yellow at extra cost), V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses 460 mm (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads. The DS pads have no TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
