Volkswagen Passat 35i V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 330 mm 4-piston (PCD 5×100, without Plus chassis)

With this big brake kit Passat 35i from V-Maxx, you convert the front axle of a Volkswagen Passat or Passat Variant (35i) with PCD 5×100 and without Plus chassis to 330 mm two-piece brake discs with 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. Sport brake pads and vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses are included in the kit.

V-Maxx has no TÜV approval for this version. The kit is mainly intended for track use; check for yourself beforehand whether you are allowed to use it on public roads.

On the track, you notice the difference above all under repeated hard braking: the aluminium calipers, brackets and bells dissipate heat quickly and the discs have directional cooling channels, so fade sets in much later.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The big brake kit Passat 35i is only suitable for cars with original steering knuckles. Do not use wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium; mild soap is sufficient. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Options: caliper colour black, blue or yellow instead of the standard red (RAL 3020), at extra cost. Also available: V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses 500 mm (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads (without TÜV). Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
