Audi Q2 V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 365 mm 6-piston

This big brake kit Q2 365 mm is the largest brake kit that V-Maxx makes for the Audi Q2: 365 mm two-piece brake discs with 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium for the front axle. The kit applies to all Q2 versions from 85 to 221 kW with aluminium knuckle and requires wheels of at least 19 inch.

The large disc diameter provides a long lever and therefore plenty of braking torque, while the aluminium caliper, bracket and bell dissipate the heat quickly. On the track, in the mountains or under repeated braking from high speed, the kit maintains its braking power. If you run your Q2 on 19 inch wheels, this kit makes the most of the space behind the wheel.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty. The kit comes with a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied, including the tightening torques. The kit is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles; on the Q2, that is the aluminium knuckle with Ø55 mm clamp. Use a mild soap for cleaning, as wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Available options: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (620 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

When do I choose the 355 mm kit instead of this 365 mm kit?

Choose the 355 mm kit (20 AU355 02) if you drive on 18 inch wheels. The big brake kit Q2 365 mm (20 AU365 02) requires wheels of at least 19 inch and gives more braking torque thanks to the larger disc. Otherwise, the calipers and the application are the same.

How do I maintain the brake kit?

Clean the kit with water and a mild soap. Wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium and is therefore not suitable.
