This big brake kit Tesla Model 3 from V-Maxx is a complete brake kit for the front axle of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, with 365 mm two-piece brake discs and 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium.

An electric car like the Model 3 or Model Y combines a lot of power with a high weight due to the battery pack. At a track day or under repeated hard braking, the brakes therefore have to convert a lot of energy into heat. The caliper, bracket and bell of this kit are made of aluminium, which conducts heat about 5 times better than steel, and the discs have directional cooling channels. This keeps braking performance consistent.

The kit fits all versions up to 393 kW (type 003 / 005) and, unlike most 365 mm kits from V-Maxx, only requires wheels from 18 inch. You get it ready to fit with V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and adapters for the original rubber brake hoses. With a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, the kit is approved for use on public roads; V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit Tesla Model 3 according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied, including the tightening torques. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles.

Do not use wheel cleaner on the brake kit, as it attacks the aluminium; a mild soap is sufficient. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses 540 mm for Tesla (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set are available as options. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
