The big brake kit Transit Connect from V-Maxx is a complete brake kit for the front axle of the Ford Transit Connect and Tourneo Connect (PJ2/PU2) from model years 02-2013 to 05-2018. The kit consists of 330 mm two-piece, grooved brake discs, 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium, V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and the vehicle-specific adapters.

A loaded commercial vehicle or family van demands a lot from the brakes, especially under repeated hard braking or on long descents. This kit gives more braking power and keeps the braking behaviour consistent for much longer. It fits all versions from 55 to 110 kW, both before and after the facelift. Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and observe the tightening torques given in those instructions. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with a mild soap; wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium and is therefore not suitable. If the van is also used on the track, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers for heavy use.

Options: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses 500 mm (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set, a different caliper colour (red RAL 3020 as standard; black, blue or yellow at extra cost) and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads without TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Loaded or empty, on the motorway or in the mountains: with 330 mm discs and forged 4-piston calipers, the Connect always has braking reserve.
