BMW E36 Extra Brake Caliper Adapter for Hydraulic Handbrake

With these E36 extra brake caliper adapters you give the rear axle of your BMW E36 a second set of brake calipers, specifically for a hydraulic handbrake. The original braking system is left untouched: your footbrake works exactly as you are used to, while the handbrake gets its own brake caliper on each wheel.

The set consists of two adapters, for left and right. They are designed for the E36 Saloon, Touring and Coupé with rear disc brakes. For the extra brake calipers you use original rear brake parts from these versions, with any engine variant. This lets you build a reliable drift handbrake from familiar, readily available parts.

Fitting and delivery

Make sure the brake disc and both brake calipers on each side come from the same version, so that the dimensions match. If you use a larger brake disc from another version, take both brake calipers from that version as well.
