This complete cold-air-intake-style kit is designed specifically for the BMW 3-Series E36 316i and 318i with engine codes M43 and M44 from the construction years 1990-2000.

The kit consists of a TA Technix adapter plate, a high-quality conical sports air filter and an adapter ring, making it a direct fit to the E36's original intake. Thanks to the robust adapter plate with rubber underlay, the filter fits vibration-free, while the large conical filter ensures free, unimpeded airflow to the engine. This results in livelier handling and a distinctly sportier sound when accelerating.

The sports filter is round-conical with a diameter of 155/120 mm and a length of 125 mm, including sturdy hose clamp. The included adapter ring makes the connection fit from Ø90 mm to Ø76 mm. The adapter plate has a connection diameter of 76 mm and a drill pattern of 93 mm x 53 mm, ensuring trouble-free assembly.

Please note that this sports air filter is not approved for use within the StVZO (so not allowed for public roads in Germany). However, for enthusiasts who want maximum sound, better airflow and a sleek look under the bonnet, this is an ideal upgrade.
