Diffuser BMW E36 saloon coupé touring M Sport package M3

This BMW E36 diffuser is an aluminium add-on for the rear bumper of an E36 with M Sport bumper or an M3. It gives the rear a real race look and makes the car look visually lower. It is our own design, made of 3 mm thick aluminium sheet.

The construction is adjustable: the two middle fins can be set to protrude further backwards, and the side sections can be set at an angle so they stay clear of the rear silencer. This way you adapt the diffuser to your exhaust and bumper.

Installation and delivery

Because of its size and the risk of damage in transit, the BMW E36 diffuser is shipped in parts. You assemble it yourself; all the parts you need for that are included. First decide how far the middle fins should protrude backwards, and then set the angle of the side sections to the position of your rear silencer.

Keep enough space between the aluminium and the exhaust so the diffuser does not get too hot. After the first few drives, check that all bolts are still tight, especially if the car sits low and the underside touches the ground now and then.
