With these splitter support rods you attach a splitter, bumper lip or diffuser firmly to the body, so the part does not flap or bend. You get a pair of 28 cm supports with an M6 thread, which you cut to the right length with a single saw cut. This means they fit virtually any car, from a BMW to a JDM project.

A loose splitter that starts to vibrate at higher speeds or hits the ground at every speed bump is asking for damage. With two extra mounting points between the lip and the chassis, you keep the spoiler in place and the height stays the same.

Installation and delivery

First determine where the support can attach to the body or a solid part of the chassis, and where it will be fixed to the splitter or diffuser. Measure the required distance, shorten the rod with a single saw cut if necessary and deburr the end. Then fix the supports onto the ball joints with the nuts and adjust them so that the lip hangs straight and at the desired height.

Preferably choose solid mounting points, not just the thin plastic of the bumper. After the first few drives, check that all the nuts of the splitter support rods are still tight, especially if the splitter touches the ground now and then.
