This reinforced aluminium bucket seat mount is a set of side mounts for a bucket seat, made of 6 mm aluminium. The two brackets are black powder-coated, have extra pressed ribs and are made according to FIA Appendix J. They therefore meet the FIA requirements for seat mounts.

The set is intended for motorsport cars in drift, rally, time attack, quarter mile and track-focused builds. Aluminium keeps the weight low, while the extra ribs make the brackets stiffer for heavier use.

Installation and delivery

The reinforced aluminium bucket seat mount is fixed to the sides of the bucket seat via the seat’s mounting points. Thanks to the many holes you choose the seat height and angle yourself. First put the seat loosely in the car, sit in it with your helmet on and check the distance to the steering wheel, pedals and roof before you choose the final holes.

Use bolts of a good strength grade with washers and lock nuts, and tighten them to the correct torque. Check the mounting regularly, especially after a race day. Also check in the regulations of your class which requirements apply to the seat, the brackets and the mounting to the body.
