FIA-Certified Steel Bucket Seat Mount

This reinforced steel bucket seat mount consists of two 3 mm steel side brackets with which you fix a bucket seat firmly in the car. The brackets have extra pressed ribs for more strength, are black powder-coated and made according to FIA Appendix J, so that they meet the FIA requirements.

Steel is the choice for those who are mainly after robustness and pay less attention to every gram. The set is intended for motorsport cars for drift, rally, time attack and the quarter mile, but also for a track day car with a fixed bucket seat.

Installation and delivery

You bolt the reinforced steel bucket seat mount to the mounting points at the side of the seat. Use the many holes to choose the seat height and angle that suit you. First sit in the seat wearing your helmet and check the space to the roof, the steering wheel and the pedals. Only then fix everything permanently.

Use strong bolts with washers and lock nuts, tighten them to the correct torque and check them after every race or track day. A reinforced steel bucket seat mount is only as strong as its mounting to the floor, so make sure you have a solid frame there too. Read the regulations of your class beforehand.
