These aluminium E92 rear side panels replace the rear side trim of the BMW E92 coupé, the section next to the rear seat, directly behind the door. The panels are made of 1 mm thick aluminium and weigh only 0.74 kg each. Ideal for drift, rally and track cars in which the heavy original trim has to make way for something lighter.

Installation and delivery

How you fasten the E92 rear side panels is up to you. We recommend pop rivets: they are quick to fit and hold firmly. First remove the original rear side trim, put the panel in place and mark the fixing points. Pre-drill, deburr the holes and protect the bare metal against rust before you fix the panel.

Work carefully around the seat belt mountings and the cables running behind the trim, and check that the coupé door still closes properly once the panels are in. If you want to do the front at the same time, there are the matching aluminium front door panels for the E92 coupé.
