Description
BMW E36 Stainless Steel Floor Panels for Race, Rally and Drift
You lay these E36 stainless steel floor panels in the footwell of a BMW E36 to cover the uneven original floor. The E36 has quite a few bumps and recesses in the footwell. With these flat plates, your feet rest on an even, non-slip surface and you can operate the pedals more easily.
The panels are mainly used in motorsport cars: time attack, rally, drift and quarter-mile sprints. Especially once the carpet is out, they give the driver and passenger a comfortable and safe place for their feet.

Installation and delivery
Fitting the E36 stainless steel floor panels is quick and easy. You choose whether to fix the plates with rivets, self-tapping screws or ordinary bolts. First lay the panels in place, check that the pedals move freely and then mark the mounting points. Pre-drill and treat the holes in the floor against rust.
After fitting, check that the accelerator pedal can open fully and that the clutch can be pressed all the way down. A flat floor changes your foot position slightly, so try it out calmly first before you go on track.
You will find more floor solutions and footrests in our floor panels and floor mats for motorsport category. It also has separate footrests for the driver, which combine well with this floor.

A flat, non-slip floor under your feet makes heel-and-toe and pedal work a lot more secure.
Why choose these E36 stainless steel floor panels?
Anyone who takes the carpet out of an E36 ends up with their feet on a bumpy floor full of edges. That is uncomfortable and makes pedal work uncertain. These E36 stainless steel floor panels solve that with a flat surface and grip tape, do not rust and look clean in a stripped race interior.
The advantage of stainless steel is that moisture, mud and road salt have little effect on it. In a rally car or a drift car that is also driven in the rain, the floor therefore stays neat for years. Together with the grip tape, the punched pattern in the steel gives extra grip.
