Installation and delivery

You fix the BMW E30 floor panels with rivets or regular bolts. First lay the floor plate and the footrest loosely in the car and decide on the position, so that the footrest sits at the right distance from the co-driver’s seat. Then mark the holes and drill them in the floor.

Before drilling, check under the car that there are no brake lines, fuel lines or cables where the holes will go. Treat the drill holes in the floor with anti-rust primer or sealant, so that no moisture gets in and no rust forms. With bolts you can still remove the BMW E30 floor panels later; with rivets the whole assembly sits tighter and without rattling.
