This adjustable short shifter shortens the shift travel of your BMW with a manual gearbox and makes every shift more precise. Installation and delivery

Installation is simple. The original shift mechanism is no longer used, and the short shifter is connected to the gearbox only via the original shift rod. No drilling in the tunnel is needed, and the shifter disappears neatly under the original gaiter.

Remove the gear lever, the gaiter and the old shifter, and check the rubber parts and bushes of the shift rod at the same time: worn bushes cause play, even with a new shifter. Then set the throw length you want and test all gears with the engine running and the clutch pressed before you drive off. Check after a few hundred kilometres that all bolts are still tight.
