The AST Full Roll Cage BMW E46 Coupé V2 is a full roll cage for the BMW 3 Series E46 with 2-door coupé bodywork. This full roll cage E46 Coupé V2 consists of the basic structure of the V1, supplemented by front reinforcement bars to the bulkhead.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who push their E46 Coupé hard and want the front of the car to work together with the cage instead of moving independently.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. Bear in mind that the front bars take up space in the footwell area, so plan any dashboard work in advance. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly.

The E46 Coupé is fairly rigid in standard form, but under competition loads the front of the bodyshell flexes. Extending the bars to the bulkhead limits that movement and makes the car feel tighter on turn-in. You notice this above all on tight circuits with lots of changes of direction.
