AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E34 Touring V4

The AST Multipoint weld-in roll cage V4 for the BMW E34 Touring is a full roll cage for the BMW 5 Series E34 with 5-door Touring bodywork. The Multipoint E34 Touring V4 builds on the V3 with an extra diagonal brace and a harness bar, so that the main hoop is better protected against deformation and the harness has a fixed anchorage point.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who are fitting their E34 Touring with a bucket seat and a multi-point harness and no longer want to rely on the original body mounting points to anchor the harness.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. Decide where your seats will go before welding, as the height of the harness bar depends on the driver’s shoulder height. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly.

The V4 is the first version in which you can build up harness, seat and cage as a single unit.

No, this is a welded-in structure that is built as a whole. If you want the complete set of bars, go straight for the V5. If you are unsure about the room to get in, take a look at the same version with NASCAR door bars.
