The AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E36 Saloon V5 is a full roll cage for the BMW E36 with 4-door saloon bodywork. This Multipoint Saloon V5 is the most comprehensive version in the range and is permanently welded to the bodyshell at 10 points.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who go straight for the top level of the range and do not want to have their E36 saloon converted again later.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly. This is the heaviest build in the range, so plan the welding carefully to get it right in one go, and have an experienced workshop determine the position of the seats, steering wheel and pedals beforehand.

Why choose this Multipoint Saloon V5 roll cage?

With a weld-in cage, you only get to choose once. Because the structure is permanently fixed in the car, upgrading afterwards is no longer a realistic option. If you know the car will ultimately need the top level anyway, the V5 saves you a second round of welding and bodywork.

Why should I choose the V5 instead of a lower version?

The Multipoint Saloon V5 is the most comprehensive version in the range. Because a welded-in cage is permanently fixed, this is the version for anyone who does not want to run the risk of having to upgrade later after all.

Can I take the cage out again later?

Not without extensive bodywork. The cage is welded to the bodyshell at 10 points, so removing it means cutting and repairing. That is why you should choose a weld-in version deliberately.

What is the structure made of?

The main hoop is made of E355 steel with a diameter of 45 mm, and the rest of the structure of E355 steel with a diameter of 40 mm. The foot plates and reinforcement plates are 3 mm thick and custom-designed for each car.

What is the delivery time?

The standard delivery time for this roll cage is 15 to 35 working days.
