The AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E87 V3 NASCAR Door Bars is a full roll cage for the BMW 1 Series E87 with five-door hatchback bodywork. This Multipoint E87 V3 NASCAR is the first version in the range with door bars, which here take the form of several curved tubes in the door.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who are stepping up from a bare basic cage to a build with genuine side protection.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly. Bear in mind that the inner door cards will need to be modified or removed to give the NASCAR tubes clearance.

The V3 adds the door bars, and in the NASCAR version they are curved so that you can still climb in behind the wheel without any trouble.
