AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage Nissan 350Z Z33 Coupé V4

The Multipoint 350Z V4 is a full roll cage for the Nissan 350Z with the Z33 chassis in 3-door Coupé bodywork, welded in at ten points. On top of the V3 package, it adds an extra diagonal brace in the main hoop and a harness bar behind the seats.

In practice, this combination is the most popular competition build: ten anchorage points for rigidity, door bars for the sides and a harness bar that anchors your harnesses at the correct height.

AST supplies the cage as a weld-in kit, with tubes bent to size, gussets and reinforcement plates in 3 mm steel.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order, with a delivery time of 15 to 35 working days. Take your time over the preparation: interior out, insulation removed and the ten welded mounting points cleaned back to bare metal. Fit the bucket seats in their final position before the harness bar is welded in, so that the harness angle is correct. The welding belongs in the hands of a fabricator with roll cage experience.

Why choose this Multipoint 350Z V4?

If you are building up a Z33 for a full season of competition, you do not want to find out halfway through that another bar is needed. This version covers the three things that are hard to add later: the ten anchorage points, the door bars and the harness bar. Anything you gain beyond this comes from the complete set of bars of the V5, but for most classes this is the point at which the cage is finished.

What does V4 add compared with V3?

This Multipoint 350Z V4 has an extra diagonal brace in the main hoop and a harness bar behind the seats, on top of the door bars and front reinforcement bars of the V3.

Can I attach my harness to the harness bar?

That is exactly what the bar is designed for. Follow your harness manufacturer’s instructions and the angles permitted by your sporting regulations.

Why ten welded mounting points instead of eight?

With ten points, the load is spread over more panels, which makes the structure more rigid and puts less strain on the bodyshell around the points.

Will the cage fit a car with a sunroof?

No. This version is designed for a roof without a sunroof and without headlining.

Is this roll cage homologated?
