The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW 2002 V5 is a full roll cage for the BMW 2002 with 2-door coupé bodywork. This Weld-in BMW 2002 V5 is the top model of the weld-in range and comes with the complete set of bars, so none of the choices you still have to make with the lighter versions apply.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who want to get the most out of a classic two-door BMW without compromising on rigidity or safety.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. Expect a tight interior: with the complete set of bars there is little room left for trim, so strip the interior completely before the welder starts.

You cannot fit more cage into a BMW 2002; the V5 marks the end of the weld-in range.

Can I upgrade from a lighter version to this specification later?

Welding in additional bars later is technically possible, but it is labour-intensive and means repainting. If you know you want the full package, you are therefore better off choosing the Weld-in BMW 2002 V5 straight away.
