AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E30 Coupé AWD V4

The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E30 Coupé AWD V4 is a full roll cage for the BMW E30 with 2-door coupé bodywork. This Weld-in E30 Coupé AWD V4 is the AWD version, so it is made for the all-wheel-drive E30 325iX and not for the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) models. The cage is permanently welded to the bodyshell at eight points and includes door bars, front reinforcement bars, an extra diagonal brace and a harness bar.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for owners of the rare 325iX who want to use their car at rally or track level.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly. When fitting, check the clearance around the transfer case and the front axle of the 325iX before you do the final welding.

The 325iX is rare enough to deserve a cage designed specifically around its all-wheel drive.

Why choose this Weld-in E30 Coupé AWD V4 roll cage?

An all-wheel-drive E30 has additional drivetrain components in the front section, which means a standard RWD cage will not fit there without modification. For the 325iX, AST designs a dedicated version with adapted pass-throughs, so you still get the full rigidity gain of eight welded mounting points without having to improvise around the front axle.

No. The Weld-in E30 Coupé AWD V4 is designed for the all-wheel-drive 325iX. If you drive a rear-wheel-drive E30 Coupé, choose the RWD version of this cage.
