The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E36 Compact V4 with NASCAR door bars is a full roll cage for the BMW E36 with 3-door Compact bodywork. This Weld-in Compact V4 NASCAR has the same layout as the standard V4, with extra diagonal bars and harness bars, but is fitted with NASCAR-style door bars and permanently welded to the bodyshell at 8 points.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who want more steel at the sides than a single door bar provides.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly. Expect the NASCAR door bars to make the entry noticeably narrower, so before the final welding, check that you can get in and out easily wearing a helmet and race suit.
