The AST Bolt-in Roll Cage Nissan Skyline R32 Coupé V4 is a full roll cage and the most extensive bolted cage for the Nissan Skyline R32 with two-door coupé body. This Bolt-in Roll Cage R32 V4 sits on six bolt points, is supplied in sections with FIA sleeve connections and can come out again later.

Compared to the V3, more tubing is added once again, on a rear structure in V-design. This is the end point of the bolt-in range: you only get more structure with a weld-in cage.

Installation and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The six base plates are welded to the body, after which the cage is assembled in sections and bolted in. This is the most extensive bolt-in kit, so allow the most time for it and measure beforehand whether your seat position and helmet still clear the tubing. On an R32, also check the mounting areas for rust, especially around the rear wheel arches. Re-tighten the bolted joints after the first drives and regularly after that. This cage is intended for circuit and competition use; check the regulations of your own motorsport organisation beforehand.

The Bolt-in Roll Cage R32 V4 has extra tubing on the same rear structure in V-design. The number of mounting points stays at six.

Why would I still choose a weld-in cage?

A welded cage spreads the forces over the whole body instead of over six points, and is therefore stronger. Some classes also require a welded cage. Check your regulations before you choose.

Does it fit a GT-R?

Yes, as long as it is a coupé. The cage sits in the interior and has nothing to do with the four-wheel drive.
