The AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage Nissan Skyline R32 Coupé V5 is a full roll cage and the top version of the multipoint range for the Nissan Skyline R32 with two-door coupé body, welded to the body at ten points. This Multipoint Roll Cage R32 V5 is supplied as a welding kit and welded into one unit in the car.

Compared to the V4, more tubing is added once again, on the same rear structure in V-design. With ten weld points and the most tubing of the multipoint range, this is the most extensive weld-in cage in this series for the R32.

Installation and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. This is the most extensive kit of the range, so allow the most time for it too. Work from the outside in: first the main hoop and the ten-point anchoring, then the front bars, and only after that the extra tubing. Leave the welding to someone with experience in roll cages and use the included welding test sample to check the settings beforehand. On an R32, also check the mounting areas for rust, especially around the rear wheel arches. This cage is intended for circuit and competition use; check the regulations of your own motorsport organisation beforehand.

The Multipoint Roll Cage R32 V5 has extra tubing on the same rear structure in V-design. The number of weld points stays at ten.

Can I weld the cage in myself?

Only if you have experience welding roll cages. A poor weld takes the strength out of the structure. If in doubt, leave it to a specialist.

Does it fit a GT-R?

Yes, as long as it is a coupé. The cage sits in the interior and has nothing to do with the four-wheel drive.

What is the delivery time?
